From September 3rd to 7th, a delegation from Uzbekistan, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, visited the United States. During the trip, the Minister held meetings with Special Assistant to the President of the United States Nicholas Berliner, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Gary Peters, Vice President of the World Bank Antonella Bassani, and the leadership of several prominent American companies. Discussions focused on deepening bilateral ties in various fields, particularly in terms of intensifying trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
The delegation also established the Uzbekistan – American IT Association “TechBridge” to foster partnerships in the information and communication sector. Additionally, the group participated in a celebration for the 32nd Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan at the US Library of Congress.
