In this role, Ashwini will be part of the company’s Executive Committee and will be in charge of increasing the company’s sales and revenues across different areas, customer segments, and countries.
The industry is undergoing large-scale network constructions and STL is amplifying its capabilities in various domains to offer state-of-the-art end-to-end solutions in this decade of network creation. Ashwini, with his experience and proficiency, will support STL’s attempts to build strong customer relationships, lead the next phase of technology solutions leadership, and establish a strong base for future growth.
Prior to joining STL, Ashwini was the Managing Director, Head of Region Europe & Africa at Project Management Institute (PMI). He has more than 25 years of global experience working with renowned companies such as Nokia, Ericsson and Kathrein Mobile. Ashwini has played a major role in sales and strategic growth capability building.
He has directed and accomplished a remarkable financial performance for telecom giants while working with world-class teams. He has led multi-billion dollar P&Ls at Nokia/Nokia Siemens and was instrumental in significantly multiplying O&M solution orders and revenues at Ericsson. He has managed a broad and global customer base, comprising of service providers, corporations, and the public sector (MTNL, BSNL, public infrastructure, and Defence sector in India and Germany) and has been an essential part of their digital journey.
