International observers and representatives of international media are overseeing the ongoing elections for members of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and Local Councils in Uzbekistan.
Special Correspondent for Belarus Segodnya Publishing House, Anastasia Tselyuk, is monitoring the voting process at polling stations in Tashkent.
“There is a significant turnout at all polling stations. The voting is being closely monitored by both local and international observers. The voters are in high spirits and are actively participating in the elections with a sense of responsibility and awareness. The elections are being conducted with transparency and in accordance with democratic standards,” states Ms. Tselyuk.
