At the Dushanbe International Investment Forum-2023, a meeting was held on the subject of Tajikistan’s potential for green energy and the role of the private sector in the energy sector. In attendance were the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Jumaa, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al Mazroui, delegations from other countries, and representatives of Tajikistan’s ministries and departments.
The participants were informed of the opportunities for the energy sector in Tajikistan. Al Mazroui spoke about the possibility of collaboration and development of the industry, and showed willingness to increase cooperation in the energy sector.
After the meeting, three documents on cooperation were signed between energy companies from Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.
