The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, hosted a state reception at the Élysée Palace in honor of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The event was attended by official delegations from both countries, as well as members of the Cabinet of Ministers led by Prime Minister François Bayrou, distinguished individuals from the fields of culture, arts, and science, and representatives from the business community and civil society.



President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to Emmanuel Macron and his spouse Brigitte Macron for the warm reception and highlighted the historic significance of the day’s negotiations, which resulted in the elevation of Uzbekistan and France’s relations to a strategic partnership.
In his speech, President Macron welcomed the outcomes of the day’s negotiations and the signed agreements.



“In recent years, we have established long-term cooperation in key areas such as energy, water resource management, public utilities, transport, and sustainable tourism. This is evidenced by the fact that, with the support of the French Government and the French Development Agency, companies from Uzbekistan are investing in our country, creating value and employment opportunities in various regions, and helping young people find their place in life through professional development.”
During the reception, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and France for the benefit of their respective nations.
