DUSHANBE, 26.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On this day, the National Exhibition of Iranian Goods and Products was opened at the Manege complex in Dushanbe, featuring more than 50 Iranian firms offering their products in the energy, farming, building, light, food, pharmaceutical industries and other areas.
It was stated that since the country’s independence in 1991, over 200 agreements on collaboration have been signed between Tajikistan and Iran, showing the expansion of ties between the two countries. Specifically, the foreign trade between Tajikistan and Iran in January and September of this year totaled $175 million, which is 11% higher than in the same period of the previous year.
It was mentioned that the successful operations of joint Tajik-Iranian companies in the country are well-established, which can be seen through the activities of the Tojiron company.
It was further noted that the significant activity of other Iranian companies in Tajikistan, which number more than 200, is proof of the increasing partnership between the two countries.
The organizers of the exhibition stated the purpose of its holding to be the showcasing of scientific and technical achievements and products of Iranian companies in the fields of energy, construction, light industry, agriculture, food industry, and pharmaceuticals.
The exhibition will run until December 29. Tajik entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to find new trading partners with representatives of Iranian companies. In addition to this, citizens and visitors can buy goods and products at reasonable prices from Iranian manufacturers.
