On Friday, South Korean company Hanssem Co. released its third-quarter financial results, disclosing a net loss of 13.1 billion won (US$9.9 million), staying in the red compared to the same period the year prior.
The company’s operating profit for July through September was 4.9 billion, a positive change from the 13.6 billion won loss reported in the same timeframe last year. Revenue increased marginally to 480.9 billion won.
Analyses conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data division of Yonhap News Agency, showed that the operating profit was 145.6 percent higher than expected. Unfortunately, no predictions for net profit were available. (END)
