For the three months ended September, Hanmi Pharm saw its net income surge to 60.5 billion won (US$44.6 million), a 93.5 percent increase compared to the same period in the prior year. Operating profit was 57.5 billion won, representing a 22.9 percent year-on-year rise, while revenue increased 6.6 percent to 364.6 billion won.
Yonhap Infomax’s survey indicated that the operating profit was 6.6 percent higher than the anticipated figure. No estimate was available for the net profit. (END)
