On Tuesday, Hanwha Aerospace Co. revealed that it had shifted from a net profit of 87.3 billion won in the same period of the previous year to a net loss of 3.6 billion won in the third quarter.
The company reported that its operating profit for the three months from July to September was 104.3 billion won, a 64.5 percent increase from the same period of the previous year, while its revenue rose 31.1 percent to 1.98 trillion won.
According to a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency, the operating profit was 14.5 percent higher than the expected figure. Unfortunately, an estimate of the net profit was not available.
