At the Taekwondo Grand Prix in Taiyuan, China, a hundred athletes from thirty different countries went head-to-head in the semi-finals. The Uzbekistan squad emerged victorious, claiming one gold (Guljanoy Naimova), two silver (Asad Anvarov and Asad Toshtemirov) and three bronze (Ziyoda Isokova, Javokhir Aliqulov, Zukhriddin Tokhirov) medals. This accomplishment of the Uzbekistan national team was the final step in preparation for the Para-Asian Games, which will start in Hangzhou in ten days.
