Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov held a meeting with Nicola Watkinson, the Managing Director for International Trade and Investment at the British international financial center TheCityUK. During the meeting, Watkinson commended Uzbekistan’s extensive economic reforms, specifically those focused on advancing banking and financial initiatives and promoting the privatization and denationalization of state-owned assets. The two parties discussed potential areas of collaboration and ultimately agreed to work together to attract major international infrastructure investment companies to participate in Uzbekistan’s privatization and denationalization efforts, as well as to implement promising projects.
