DUSHANBE, 29.05.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zavki Zavkizoda, held a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Transport, who is also responsible for investment and privatization, Abdul Alim Khan.

The meeting highlighted Pakistan’s willingness to utilize Tajikistan’s transit routes as a means to access Central Asian markets.

Zavki Zavkizoda also acknowledged the strong trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, thanks to the wise and forward-thinking leadership of both nations.

The two sides discussed investment opportunities in Tajikistan, particularly in textile, mining, and energy sectors, as well as the establishment of joint ventures in the country.

Furthermore, both parties expressed their readiness to utilize transportation corridors in both countries. They also expressed their commitment to increasing bilateral trade and fully utilizing the potential of both nations.
