An important task in implementing the resolution of the Head of State on developing and increasing the international reputation of kurash, which includes training professional coaches, judges, and instructors, and improving their qualifications, is the systematic organization of international workshops. This was emphasized at the workshop held in Tashkent, which was attended by over 45 specialists from 18 countries.

Four months ago, in collaboration with the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and the International Institute of Kurash, a three-month online course was organized with the participation of experts from Brazil, Congo, Cameroon, the United Kingdom, the United States, Iran, India, Indonesia, Russia, Switzerland, Haiti, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

Following this, practical classes were held at the Sagbon Sports Complex and the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports in Tashkent.

The participants of the workshop highlighted the efforts of Uzbekistan in promoting kurash, its inclusion in the program of the Asian Games, and the establishment of federations in 139 countries. They also noted the success of organizing competitions and championships, with a total of 48 events planned for 2024.
