According to AKIPRESS.COM, the State National Security Committee has reported that the stadium in Aravan district, which was illegally given to private individuals, has been returned to the state. The stadium covers an area of 0.46 hectares and has a market value of 307,135,118 soms.

In 2001, the village council of Aravan rural municipality made a decision to allocate the district stadium for the construction of a lyceum and a sports complex to private individuals. However, this decision was in violation of the presidential decree issued on February 16, 1995, which prohibits the transfer of social infrastructure objects to private ownership.

After a pre-investigation check, the land plot containing the sports and educational facilities has been returned to the state authorities.
