Amonatbank Provides Loans to 53,000 Clients Totaling Over 1.8 Billion Somoni

DUSHANBE, 13.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2023, Amonatbank granted loans totaling more than 1.8 billion somoni to 53,000 clients.

The funds for these loans were sourced from both domestic and foreign reserves. Compared to 2022, the amount of loans issued by Amonatbank in 2023 increased by 354 million somoni, or 24%.

The loans were distributed as follows: 20.9% for industry, 19.2% for agriculture, 30.3% for consumers, over 12% for construction and trade, 4.6% for transport, and 0.3% for maintenance.

Amonatbank also launched several initiatives offering preferential loans, including “Spring-2023”, “Car Loan”, “Successful Women”, “Education-2023”, and “Mortgage Loans”. The interest rates for these loans range from 10% to 24% per annum in national currency and from 4.5% to 10% per annum in foreign currency.

The total loan portfolio of Amonatbank is now 2.2 billion somoni, with over 62,000 borrowers. This represents a 31% increase compared to 2022.
