The Chairman of the Hunarmand Association of Uzbekistan, R. Mirzaakhmedov, held a meeting with the founders of Salsola Design, Erica Zhou and Simon Sun, in Tashkent.
The guests announced their participation in the upcoming Maison&Objet Paris exhibition, the world’s largest furniture and household goods fair, as representatives of their furniture brand in September of this year.
Salsola Design is located within the exhibition grounds and will feature handicrafts from Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan, presented in a unique and creative manner.
The parties also discussed the possibility of Uzbekistan’s artisans participating in another French exhibition fair in January 2026.
A cooperation agreement was reached between the Hunarmand Association and Salsola Design.
