Uzbekistan’s potential for tourism was prominently showcased at the 2025 Xinjiang Cultural Tourism Industry Trading Expo and the 6th Xinjiang Spring Tourism Expo, which took place from March 22 to 24 in Urumqi, China. As part of a joint stand organized by the Committee for Tourism and the Tashkent City Hokimiyat, presentations highlighted the country’s favorable investment climate, export potential, and various tourism opportunities. Talks were also held between representatives from the tourism sectors of Tashkent and Urumqi, resulting in agreements to collaborate and increase tourist flows and investment activity in the tourism industry.
