The meeting between the Hokim of Kagan district, Otabek Kazakov, and Chinese investors, along with Zhang Fang Song, Director General of Shanghai Kaida Safety Technology Engineering Co., took place.
The guests were given an overview of the Bukhara Industrial Development Complex.
In Kagan District, there are ongoing projects to establish advanced industrial facilities and produce finished goods for both domestic and international markets. The first phase of a $300 million project will be launched, creating 2,000 jobs and generating products with an annual added value of $250 million for the regional economy. The total area of two production buildings will be 93,000 square meters, with the production of polymer pipes set to begin in the second quarter.
