The TMS Annual Meeting 2025, organized by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society, took place in Las Vegas.

Over 4,000 experts in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, and advanced materials from top global organizations, industries, and academic institutions participated in the event.

The Uzbek team presented their research paper titled “Investigating the Impact of Annealing Time and Temperature on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of High-Entropy Alloys”. The team’s findings have significant implications for the development of advanced materials with high-temperature resistance. Their study revealed nanoscale structural changes while maintaining mechanical properties.

Their work received high praise from the international panel of judges and was awarded first place for providing innovative solutions to current challenges in the field of materials science.

Dr. Elyorjon Jumayev, a young Uzbek scientist, presented the research at the conference. He has previously collaborated with world-renowned companies such as Hyundai Motors, Samsung, NASA, and Oak Ridge. Dr. Jumayev has discovered over 350 types of materials, holds seven international patents, and has published 16 scientific articles in prestigious international journals.
