The Uzbekistan – U.S. Business Forum is providing new opportunities for cooperation

The international exhibition center CAEx Uzbekistan is currently hosting the Uzbekistan – U.S. Business Forum.

The forum has brought together government officials, domestic and foreign specialists, business representatives, and experts from both countries.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev highlighted the country’s large-scale economic reforms, measures to improve the investment climate, and their impact on international cooperation in his speech at the forum.

In recent years, trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and the United States have been steadily growing, with several major joint projects successfully implemented.

In her remarks, Carolyn Lamm, Chairman of the Board of the American – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the favorable investment environment, support for the private sector, and economic transparency in Uzbekistan, which offer significant opportunities for American companies. She also highlighted the effectiveness of business forums in strengthening business ties and expanding cooperation in new areas between the two countries.

During the forum, participants discussed potential collaborations in energy, agro-industry, information technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and education.

The forum participants recognized the importance of the event in strengthening bilateral economic relations and fostering a new partnership based on trust and mutual interests.
