In order to enhance the local and foreign tourism experience and improve the area’s infrastructure, a zipline attraction measuring 800 meters, a 200-meter tubing facility, a modern restaurant, and a designated selfie zone were constructed on Langar mound in the Khatirchi district of Navoi region. The opening ceremony was attended by Navoi region’s Hokim Normat Tursunov, mahalla activists, and members of the public. Located 120 kilometers away from the regional center, Langar mound is surrounded by tall mountains and boasts a cool climate, with lush poplar and willow trees. The addition of houses near the ravines has made this area even more appealing to visitors, who are often plentiful. The mound has been designated as a tourist village and offers 20 family-operated guest houses, three recreation areas with dining options, and 10 retail outlets. This has provided employment for 50 individuals and allowed 15 families to showcase their traditional cooking skills. To further boost tourism and income, a three-day “Langar Tourist Ring” package has been introduced and a tourist hunting facility has been established.
