The first trilateral summit of the leaders of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, featuring Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Emomali Rahmon, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, respectively, has begun at the «Arkadag» Hotel in Ashgabat.
This is the first high-level gathering of its kind, and thus can be deemed historical. By adding a new chapter to the record of traditionally amicable interstate relations, the Ashgabat Summit seeks to lay the groundwork for the continued growth of mutually advantageous multifaceted collaboration that serves the interests of the countries involved and the region as a whole.
During the meeting, the heads of state will explore the prospects of intensifying partnership in the realms of politics, diplomacy, trade, economics, culture, and humanitarianism. Additionally, the presidents of the three states will exchange opinions on the progress of cooperation on international and regional stages.
