The three-day visit to Uzbekistan by partners from the Apennine Peninsula, organized by BMB HOLDING and the diplomatic mission of Italy in Uzbekistan, concluded successfully. During the visit, delegation members engaged in discussions on important topics such as the restoration of the Aral Sea, effective water resource management, food security, and adapting to climate change. On the second day, a roundtable was held at the Tashkent branch of the Turin Polytechnic University, which proved to be productive for both parties. The event was attended by highly qualified specialists from Uzbekistan’s Ministries of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, Agriculture and Water Resources, and Health, and resulted in concrete areas for future cooperation being outlined. This visit marks another important step in strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Italy, and the agreements made will serve as a solid foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
