Bright “Welcome to Uzbekistan” banners can be seen on the streets of London as the city prepares to host the upcoming Uzbek Culture and Food Festival. The festival, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the UK, will take place on June 21-22 at the famous Tower Bridge Square. Its goal is to showcase Uzbekistan’s vibrant cultural heritage, tourist attractions, and unique cuisine to the British public. The “Caravan of Uzbekistan” cultural and gastronomic marathon has already made stops in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Oxford. The festival will feature presentations of traditional crafts, performances by folklore groups, food tastings, and exhibitions highlighting the diversity of Uzbekistan’s regions.
