The National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, requested German companies to join forces in the areas of transport and communications during a meeting of the heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany in Berlin.
At the gathering, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty pointed out the fruitful partnerships with German firms in the past, such as their involvement in extending the services of cellular networks, satellite systems, and maritime transport.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also expressed Turkmenistan’s willingness to discuss the advancement of railway transport, shipbuilding equipment, and the effective utilization of the transport and logistics capabilities of the Turkmenbashi port, in addition to the opening of new forms of cooperation in telecommunications.
Hero-Arkadag concluded his remarks by inviting German companies to participate in projects to digitalize the economy of Turkmenistan.
