A meeting was held in Tashkent between Kongratbay Sharipov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, and Duyshonkul Chotonov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan. The focus of the discussion was on current matters related to the advancement of mutual collaboration in higher education, science, and innovation. Both parties emphasized the significance of elevating educational relations to a higher level. Agreements were made to establish a research center dedicated to the development of pilgrimage tourism. Additionally, plans were made to discuss a joint project on sustainable energy involving the Fergana State Technical University and Kyrgyz higher education institutions, specifically the construction of a micro-hydropower plant.
