DUSHANBE, 01.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – During the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
The main focus of the meeting was on securing funds for the construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power station.
Zavkizoda highlighted the country’s significant energy potential, particularly in the field of green energy, and urged Al Suwaidi to provide financial support for the construction of the Roghun hydropower plant, as well as solar and wind power plants.
Both parties expressed their willingness to further enhance trade and economic cooperation.
