During his trip to France, Abdulla Azizov, the Director of the Uzbekistan Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, had several meetings. The representatives of the Cosmetic Valley cluster gave a presentation on the French cosmetics market, the “Cosmetic 360” innovation exhibition, and the global network of cosmetic clusters. Mr. Azizov shared detailed information about Uzbekistan’s cosmetics market, government incentives, and the innovative scientific-production pharmaceutical cluster, Tashkent Pharma Park. The parties reached an agreement to work on promising joint projects. At the meeting with representatives from Servier company, a presentation was given on the company’s operations in Uzbekistan, and discussions were held about potential collaboration in localizing cardiovascular pharmaceutical products in the country.
