Bakhtiyor Saidov Holds Meeting with OSCE Chair-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Finland

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, recently met with Elina Valtonen, the Chair-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Foreign Minister of Finland. According to a report from the Uzbekistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two parties discussed the current status and future prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE. They also focused on working together to strengthen regional security, promote good governance principles, and protect human rights.

In addition, the parties explored opportunities to expand bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Finland in the areas of politics, economics, and culture. Mr. Saidov expressed his appreciation for his colleague’s dedication to deepening their collaboration and looks forward to continued successful engagement.

This meeting marks an important step in strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and the OSCE, as well as expanding dialogue with Finland, a key partner in the European region.
