The project will receive a total investment of $35 million from Chinese investors to achieve its objectives. When the project reaches its full capacity, it will create over 1,000 permanent job opportunities for young individuals.
During a discussion between the Hokim of Syrdarya region, Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev, and the CEO of China’s Taitong International Transport, Chu Xuan, it was revealed that the project will involve the construction of a large production and logistics center with Chinese funding. The parties addressed various organizational matters related to the project.
The project will be implemented in three stages, with the first phase expected to be completed by September 2025. One of the main goals of the project is to export agricultural products grown in the fertile lands of Syrdarya under the label “Made in Uzbekistan” to not only China but also other countries.
