The President’s instructions have been set in motion. A non-governmental educational institution with a thousand student places has been built in Shakhrikhan district of Andijan region in honor of Academician Toshmuhammad Sarymsakov.
Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Honored Worker of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and holder of the “Buyuk Khizmatlari Uchun” Order Toshmuhammad Sarymsakov was a scientist who made a considerable contribution to the development of the country’s science and created a scientific school of topological and functional analysis.
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, proposed to study the scientific heritage and perpetuate the memory of the scientist, establish “Sarymsakov readings” and a scholarship named after the scientist for gifted students of Andijan State University, as well as create a specialized school named after the scientist in Toshmuhammad Sarymsakov’s homeland – in Shakhrikhan district.
Mansurbek Mamayusupov, an entrepreneur from this district, began the noble work based on the President’s proposal. The project was worth 21.5 billion UZS.
The institution is equipped with all the necessary conditions for education. It follows the new national curriculum introduced in Presidential and specialized schools. The physics, chemistry, and biology classrooms have advanced laboratory equipment. Solar panels with a capacity of 31 kW are installed on the building of the educational institution, providing the building with electricity entirely autonomously.
Andijan region’s Hokim Sh. Abdurakhmonov took part in the opening ceremony of the school. The visitors inspected classrooms. Students were presented with Presidential gifts.
