During the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan met with Mohammad Abunayyan, Co-Chairman of the Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia Business Council and Chairman of ACWA Power. The discussions centered around strengthening practical cooperation with Saudi Arabian companies and jointly implementing investment projects. The President acknowledged the successful partnership with ACWA Power in carrying out large-scale projects and highlighted the company’s significant role in attracting Saudi investments to Uzbekistan. The two parties agreed to expedite the implementation of joint projects in various sectors such as energy, transportation, information technology, healthcare, and agriculture. Following the visit to Samarkand, the President returned to Tashkent.
