What Can Participants Expect at the First International Jewelry Forum and Exhibition of Tajikistan?

DUSHANBE, 17.03.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The First International Jewelry Forum and Exhibition of Tajikistan will take place in Dushanbe from March 24 to 26, under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. This event marks a significant milestone in the history of independent modern Tajikistan and aims to bring together artisans, designers, manufacturers, investors, and experts from over 15 countries. The forum will feature plenary sessions, educational sessions, an exhibition of jewelry equipment, a fair of jewelry products, fashion shows, masterclasses, and more. This event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan in collaboration with the creative association “TZ.” Over 200 participants, including 100 foreign representatives, have already registered for the forum, showcasing the high level of interest in the event both within and beyond the country.

The forum aims to promote Tajik traditions in jewelry art, facilitate international cooperation, and exchange experiences. Representatives from government and business structures, as well as well-known companies in the jewelry industry, have been invited to participate. The forum will also feature experts and researchers in the field of jewelry art and collectors. Participants can expect to discuss topics related to the introduction of technologies, innovations, and trends in the jewelry industry. The forum will also provide a platform for local producers and entrepreneurs to establish contacts and strengthen cooperation with international partners in the industry. The event will showcase exhibition stands and pavilions, as well as offer masterclasses, presentations, and round tables for participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in the practical and theoretical foundations of jewelry art.

The forum is expected to attract participants from countries such as Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and various countries from the European Union and the Middle East. The event will also include visits to jewelry clusters in Dushanbe and cultural complexes in the country, allowing participants to experience the rich heritage of Tajikistan’s jewelry industry. This event aligns with the initiatives and tasks set by the Head of State, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, within the framework of the declared “Years of Rural Development, Tourism, and Folk Crafts” (2019-2021).

Participants can expect to attend plenary and educational sessions, as well as visit an exhibition showcasing the achievements of Tajik jewelry art and new technologies in the industry. The forum will also feature panel sessions on advanced technologies and equipment used in jewelry production, proposals for improving legal regulations in the industry, and educational sessions for beginning jewelers and jewelry designers. This event will provide a unique opportunity for local producers and entrepreneurs to enrich their knowledge and experience, strengthen their professional potential, and establish contacts with international partners in the jewelry sector.
