The Parkent district of Tashkent region is hosting the Uzum Sayli (celebrations for the grape harvest) and the International Winemaking Festival, which is meant to showcase Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and to promote viticulture, special species, and various horticultural products. The event includes international scientific and practical conferences, business workshops, and lectures by both foreign and domestic experts. It also features the premiere of the documentary film “Inexhaustible Treasure” about the hero of Uzbekistan Tojiboy Rizayev, performances from pop artists and folk groups, and reflections of folk customs and traditions. Speakers from foreign embassies in Uzbekistan, international organizations, and leading wine companies from more than 30 countries, such as Korea, Singapore, Belarus, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, will be present. Exhibitions from farms, wineries, and enterprises producing drinks, juices, and concentrates from all regions of the country are also being showcased, and the festival business area provides a platform for concluding contracts and agreements.
