Hackathon “TechGenius” Welcomed Young Developers, Designers, and Students at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation

Young individuals who have experience in programming, design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science recently convened at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, alongside the National Office for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IT Park, Phystech.Genesis and HACKONNECT, to take part in the hackathon “TechGenius”. The purpose of this event was to promote the development of innovative solutions and was moderated by the Founder of Phystech.Genesis Evgeny Anikin, with experts from various companies acting as mentors.

The participants had 48 hours to come up with creative ideas and technologies and develop projects that could address complex issues in these areas. The hackathon was part of the joint project “Unlocking Opportunities for Youth Economic Empowerment through Digitalization”, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and UNDP and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Professionals responsible for the innovative activities of network associations, banks, and large companies were also present at the event.
