Anna Prakaten of Uzbekistan put on a stellar performance in the women’s rowing singles program at the Asian Games, bringing home a gold medal for her country. China and Japan won silver and bronze medals respectively.
The men’s M-4 program also saw a gold medal victory for Uzbekistan. Shekhroz Khakimov, Davrjon Davronov, Dilshodjon Khudoyberdiyev, and Alisher Turdiyev crossed the finish line first, earning the country their third gold medal.
Altogether, Uzbekistan earned three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, allowing them to take third place in the team event. The championships are still ongoing.
