The “Uzbekistan-2030” Plan is a document developed by the people, which details five directions and one hundred objectives for creating a new Uzbekistan. One of the primary objectives is to “Ensure the well-being of the population through sustainable economic growth”, which involves increasing the gross domestic product to $160 billion and per capita income to $4 thousand by 2030. To make the country more attractive for investment, banking system reforms, expanded banking services, and increased competition in industries are necessary. Additionally, the Islamic financial system is predicted to draw in up to $10 billion. Moreover, transitioning to a “green economy” and increasing the portion of renewable energy usage to 40 percent are key tasks for the Strategy. The Head of state’s resolution “On measures for the high-quality and timely implementation of the “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy in 2023” will help ensure the successful implementation of the Strategy.
