The Republic of Uzbekistan is Hosting the 2nd International Assembly “Youth Tourism”

In compliance with the Head of State’s decrees on the further development of the tourism sector, the Second International Assembly “Youth Tourism” is being held from August 7-11 at the Children’s Health Camp “Lochin” in the Shakhrisabz district of the Kashkadarya region.

At the press conference organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Hokimiyat of Kashkadarya region, more than 30 journalists and bloggers, including media representatives, were in attendance. The international assembly welcomed over a thousand participants, including delegations from the regions and sister cities of Kashkadarya region, as well as youth from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Türkiye.

Fifty people from each region of the country were invited to the international assembly. These included talented schoolchildren, students, and young adults, as well as those in need of social protection and those with disabilities, who were all listed in the “Youth Notebook.”

The assembly has featured friendship evenings, contests and competitions, intellectual games, presentations, and master classes with the participation of athletes and coaches, as well as visits to historical sites and architectural monuments in the Shakhrisabz district.

At the conclusion of the event, active representatives of groups and territorial teams will be presented with certificates of honor and special gifts. Every participant in the assembly will be awarded a certificate from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
