Fergana region, one of the scenic areas of Uzbekistan, is home to a multitude of health resorts and sanatoriums. During January-May of this year, nearly 2,000 foreigners went to the region to better their health, 72% of them being citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The sanatorium-resort complexes in the village of Chimgan, Fergana region, are well-known throughout the area. Another popular spot is the Yettibuloq Shifo health resort, which has been functioning since ancient times and is renowned for its therapeutic springs. In addition, 24 family guest houses have been established in the district, and additional tourist services have been launched.
The introduction of health resorts “Fahriylar”, “Legion” and “Seyman Bakhor” in the village of Vuadil, Fergana region, has led to an increase in the flow of tourists.
Another attraction for guests is a lavender plantation situated in Uchkuprik district. Exhibitions of products made from lavender and fir are also featured. Tours are organized at the Health Garden, where papaya, bananas, goji berries, kiwi, and olive trees are grown.
