The President expresses his satisfaction with the continued interest of Chinese businesses in Uzbekistan, with investments exceeding $10 billion in the previous year alone.
During his conversation with Zheng Xuexuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China State Construction, the President commends the successful collaboration in modernizing Tashkent’s road infrastructure and discusses plans for cultural facility development in the capital.
An agreement is reached to launch a project for establishing an industrial zone in the Tashkent region and for the company to participate in highway construction projects.
The discussions with Yang Changli, Chairman of China General Nuclear Power Corporation, focus on strengthening the partnership in the mining sector. The President expresses interest in expediting geological exploration and the development of new deposits. The company’s plans to construct a hybrid solar power plant and implement customs cargo scanning technologies are supported.
The President and Wang Bo, Chairman of CAMCE, review the joint efforts in constructing the Olympic Village in Tashkent and take note of the rapid development of the “Yangi Avlod” industrial technopark managed by the company.
Special attention is given to expanding the portfolio of joint initiatives, particularly in accelerating electric power and infrastructure development projects in New Tashkent.
The President and Wu Gang, Chairman of Goldwind, exchange views on the company’s involvement in developing green energy. The production of components for wind power plants has already been established in Uzbekistan through this partnership.
An agreement is made to further localize wind turbine production and speed up ongoing projects.
The President is informed by Hu Xiangliang, Head of ZTO Express, about the company’s plans to launch an online platform for easier customs clearance of goods and the establishment of smart logistics warehouses in Uzbekistan.
