During the Foreign Investors Council meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, welcomed a delegation from major Saudi Arabian companies led by Mohammad Abunayyan, Co-Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Business Council and Chairman of ACWA Power’s Board of Directors. Senior representatives from Vision Invest and Riyadh Cables were also present at the meeting. The discussions focused on enhancing practical cooperation with Saudi Arabian businesses and expediting priority projects in Uzbekistan. The successful partnership with ACWA Power and other Saudi companies was acknowledged with satisfaction. Currently, the joint project portfolio amounts to $24 billion, with successful implementation of green energy projects, including the production of green hydrogen in the Tashkent region.
