The President of the Republic of Bulgaria arrives in Uzbekistan

The arrival of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, in Uzbekistan on June 9 for an official visit was made possible by an invitation from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The distinguished guest was welcomed at Tashkent International Airport by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other high-ranking officials. The main events of the visit are scheduled for June 10, including negotiations between the two countries’ leaders, official and business events, and the signing of a package of bilateral agreements. The discussions between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria will focus on further developing mutually beneficial relations, such as increasing trade volumes, establishing cooperation in various sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and digitalization, and expanding tourism and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
