In the first half of 2023, the Republic of Uzbekistan witnessed a total of 59.0 trillion UZS of foreign investments and loans converted into fixed capital. Of this amount, 6.9 trillion UZS was in the form of foreign loans backed by Uzbekistan, 25.2 trillion UZS was from foreign direct investment and non-guaranteed foreign loans, and the remaining 26.9 trillion UZS was from other foreign investments.
