On August 30, the ceremony of presenting credentials by newly appointed foreign ambassadors to Uzbekistan took place.
Among the foreign diplomats who presented their credentials to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was Mohammad Monirul Islam, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
– I thank the President of Uzbekistan for the opportunity to present my project, – Ambassador Mohammad Monirul Islam said. – I also express my gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. We were received very warmly.
The diplomat pointed out that the relationship between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh is growing, and that collaboration is increasing in business, education, and culture. An action plan has been created, and its implementation will begin soon.
– Our successes and accomplishments are clear. The global community acknowledges this, – Mohammad Monirul Islam said. – I value our friendship and cooperation.
The increase in trade volumes in the pharmaceutical and textile industries, agriculture, investment growth, and business cooperation was recognized. The Ambassador expressed his hope that this partnership would be successful and concluded his interview by wishing the people of Uzbekistan a happy 32nd Anniversary of Independence.
