DUSHANBE, 17.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Embassy of Tajikistan in Turkiye, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dangara district of the Khatlon region and the Onikishubat district of the Kahramanmaras province of Turkiye, unveiled the pavilion of Tajikistan at the Kahramanmaras EXPO 2023.
The pavilion features a garden of trees and flowers with an area of 800 m2 and a hall with an area of 50 m2. Inside it, various items are displayed, such as handicrafts, paintings, books, traditional clothing and samples of Tajik folk crafts.
The pavilion of Tajikistan was attended by Vice-President Cevdet Yilmaz, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli, Mayor of Kahramanmaras province Hayrettin Gungor and other high-ranking officials.
As part of the opening ceremony of the pavilion, the Chairman of the Dangara district of the Khatlon region Islomiddin Rahmon met with the Mayor of the Onikishubat district of Kahramanmaras province Hanefi Mahcicek.
The two sides discussed the potential for developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Tajikistan and Turkiye in various economic sectors, such as agriculture and light industry.
The exhibition will run until January 14, 2024.
