DUSHANBE, 06.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the Committee for Environmental Protection of Tajikistan, the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification is currently taking place in Riyadh from December 2 to December 13.
Tajikistan’s representatives at the conference are specialists from the Committee for Environmental Protection.
The government of Tajikistan is actively working to address the issues of drought, land degradation, and desertification.
Attendees of the conference are also invited to the International Conference on Glacier Preservation, which will be held in Dushanbe in May 2025.
