On Friday, the Bank of Korea (BOK) announced that Governor Rhee Chang-yong will attend a series of meetings of the Group of 20 finance ministers and central bank chiefs, and the International Monetary Fund-World Bank Group, in Marrakech, Morocco. The meetings are slated to take place from Monday to Sunday and will focus on a range of economic and financial topics.
The attendees will likely discuss the best ways to address increasing interest rates, global debts, economic and geopolitical fragmentation, and other significant risks, according to the BOK.
