Prime Minister of Slovakia arrives in Uzbekistan (+video)

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, arrived in Uzbekistan on June 8 for an official visit.

The distinguished guest was welcomed by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other officials at Tashkent International Airport.

The main events of the visit will take place on June 9, with high-level talks focusing on the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

Particular attention will be given to expanding partnerships in priority sectors such as trade, investment, innovation, agriculture, industry, energy, and tourism. Discussions will also cover organized labor migration, as well as cultural, humanitarian, and educational exchanges. International issues and mutual support within multilateral forums will also be addressed.

The visit will conclude with the signing of documents to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, will participate in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum as part of his visit program.
