Uzbek and Tajik Leaders Converse on Mutual Interests

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan came together in Dushanbe to look into ways to strengthen the partnership between their respective nations. The two presidents discussed how to effectively carry out agreements at the highest level, particularly in the areas of economic cooperation, cultural and humanitarian exchange, and joint efforts of the Intergovernmental Commission. Additionally, they examined topics for the upcoming Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Leaders and the Summit of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. Other facets of regional interaction were also taken into account.
