President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Attended the Flower-laying Ceremony at the Independence Monument

Today, the people of Turkmenistan, whose lives are illuminated by creative inspiration, celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the sacred independence of their homeland. As part of the commemorative festivities, a flower-laying ceremony at the Independence Monument took place, with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in attendance.

Early in the morning, the National Independence Park was filled with thousands of compatriots and guests who had arrived to take part in the celebrations. The square in front of the monument was decorated with colorful banners and bouquets of flowers. As the presidential car approached, the crowd greeted the head of state with great enthusiasm.

The President of Turkmenistan walked down the carpet, flanked by representatives of the nation’s defenders. The National Anthem of the country was played as the President laid a wreath at the memorial plate. The gilded spire of the monument, shining in the morning sun, served as a reminder of the great accomplishments of the Turkmen people.

Following the President, wreaths and bouquets of flowers were placed by the Chairman of the Mejlis, deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, and other dignitaries. At the end of the ceremony, President Berdimuhamedov said his farewells and departed.

Celebrations of Independence Day were held throughout the country.
